After three grueling days on my feet, driving 8 hours round trip to Memphis, I finally can make an assessment of the Midsouth Homeschool Convention. To begin, the people at Great Homeschool Conventions are very well organized and professional. The convention ran smoothly, despite the bad weather outside. At the Cook Convention Center, the Marriott Hotel takes care of concessions and present their food just as they do at any top-notch buffet. All the servers wore vest and tie, silver covered…

Could there be more to prophecy than meets the eye? Is it possible that many prophecies point to the current UFO phenomena as being created by what the Scriptures call devils? The Scriptures seperate the word devils from demons.
A devil is a still living being. A demon is the spirit of a dead devil. Jesus called Judas a devil not a demon. Jesus delivered those who were demon possessed. Demons can possess humans. Devils are still in their fleshly bodies.
Satan was created on…

Jesus' words have been abused due to the misappropriation of them. Many prophesies have either been ignored or corrupted. Jesus' coming is in no wise supposed to be a surprise. He told us all things. But beyond this, He revealed many things which cannot be deciphered without the necessary keys which have long been forgotten by today's leaders.
THE TEMPLE TAX AND OTHER THINGS
Jesus went to the temple and entered without paying the temple tax. …

Jesus left a definite sign of His one and only return. He called it the sign of the Son of Man. Matthew 24 was meant to lead us to Isaiah 13. Jesus was quoting Isaiah when He spoke of the sun, moon and stars going dark. Isaiah and Matthew match exactly except for details about the stars.
Jesus says they fall to the earth. Isaiah says, they grow dark. Both are true. Isaiah explains that the earth moves away from the sun due to a nuclear war between the Medes (present day Kurds) and…

FLIGHT OF SHADOWS is the sequel to Brower’s futuristic thriller BROKEN ANGEL. In this Sci-Fi series, scientists have learned to splice human genetic material together with other life forms to create new hybrids. Most of the experiments have failed, except for one – a girl named Caitlyn Brown. In this second novel, Caitlyn has just escaped from the oppression of a closed culture known as ‘Appalachia’ , where she and her scientist father had retreated for her safety. She soon discovers,…

Hi Everyone,
This topic is a departure from the usual author stuff, however, I believe it will be of interest to all.
Something of interest to me is the spate of natural or perhaps man-made disasters that have continued to spread from one nation to another since this year began. It is not that things like earthquakes, floods e.t.c have not happened before, it is the concentration of these events within the space of three weeks of 2011 that is worrisome. I…

DESTINY’S DREAM by Delia Latham has it all. There’s romance, mystery and action – all very skillfully woven together into a well told and satisfying story. Add to that a solid presentation of the gospel using real and believable characters, and you have a recipe for a great Christian romance novel. These elements on their own are enough to make this book worth reading, but Latham has taken her story telling to another whole level. There were so many unique things about this book that I’m not…
