Tolu Oyewole is an author, itinerant evangelist, adversity coach and business consultant, called to the ministry of encouragement, with an innate passion to see young people overcome mediocrity and strive to fulfil their potential.
As the second of three children from both parents, Tolu struggled with the middle child syndrome, which tainted his perception of himself. It consequently limited his potential and reflected on his academic performances. However, through his strong faith in God and the help of his mentors, he was able to bounce back to become one of the best students at College, graduating with a triple distinction in BTEC National Diploma in Business.
His experience has been the catalyst for his passion. His role at his local Church affords him with the platform to fulfil his dream of inspiring young people to become all they were meant to be. He has been opportune to discuss with parents about their role in developing a culture of holistic excellence in their community.
He is connected to a network of youth leaders across the United Kingdom; together they run programmes that address life issues, with the aim of inspiring and spurring young people towards holistic excellence.
He is an experienced business oriented personality – with excellent leadership qualities. He previously owned a pixel advertising company that catered to the marketing needs of SMEs. He served as the Managing Director of a social enterprise that specialises in delivering life coaching services to young people living in Barking and Dagenham. He also sits on the Board of a multi-million pound Charity Organisation as an Independent Executive, advising them on Youth Development.
As an emerging leader in his generation, he is committed to continuously learning from the trailblazers of his present and previous generations, emulating their ‘rights’ and learning from their mistakes.
