Discernment Needed

As i continue to network on various authors sites, I have been a bit dismayed by some alarming posts by people who claim to be Christians. I'm talking mostly about what I would call 'fringe' doctrine based on questionable interpretation of scripture. Of course, I do not claim to know it all. I am still in progress, as are all of you. However, may I gently remind you to be cautious as you pursue your publishing dreams. I realize we are all trying to do the same thing - promote our writing - but in the frenzy let us not forget that first and foremost we are representatives of Christ.  Be very careful what you read, and even more, KNOW WHAT YOU BELIEVE!  There are probably just as many 'whackos' posing as believers 'in here' as there are 'out there'>
