The prodigal son is the best story I know of in Scripture that displays the heavenly Father’s love and devotion to His children. Our security is in Christ Jesus and not in anything or anyone else. We are kept by the power of His blood. The four benefits of the father to the prodigal son demonstrates that. Our Father in heaven desires us; we are in a relationship not a contract agreement. Relationship transcends beyond our sins, brokenness, and disappointments; and shelters us with the Father’s love.
